- Respond to alarm conditions and work issues from inception to resolution
WAN Services are available with a variety of transport Options:
Private IP
Our Private IP Layer 3 MPLS-based VPN puts all your traffic on a reliable, private network with Quality of Service (QoS) routing. And with Private IP Layer 3, you can build a hybrid solution between your public and private networks while enabling automated business processes, including e-commerce, VoIP, converged solutions, shared intranets, and extranets.
IP VPN Broadband
Remote VPN is a flexible suite of fully managed remote access solutions that help reduce the complexities of implementing and maintaining remote access for employees.
IP VPN Dedicated
IP VPN Dedicated lets you send data across our global IP infrastructure with the security you expect of a private network, at an economical price.
Frame Relay
Frame Relay Service is a global data network based on a simplified form of package switching in which synchronous frames of data are routed to specified destinations within a defined network. Example utilizing an ATT diagram:
ATM
At the core of the AT&T ATM network is an MPLS backbone that provides high-speed reliability, low congestion, and consistent performance. The backbone uses high-speed ATM cell relay nodes connected by a network of DS3s, OC3s and OC12s trunks. AT&T Local ATM Service will connect you to your other locations in the same LATA .Your domestic and/or international ATM Service can interconnect to your local ATM locations for a complete solution.
Private Line Services
AT&T Private Line is a digital network service that provides the transmission path for private digital data lines and supports simultaneous, two-way transmission of voice, data, video, or any signal that can be encoded digitally - in any combination - over dedicated terrestrial or satellite channels.
Internet Dedicated Access
Our Dedicated Access products offer high-speed solutions for businesses that need high-performance and full-time dedicated Internet access. We support your critical communications, with high-bandwidth, full-time dedicated connections to our Global Internet network.
Verizon Specific Options
Verizon Business offers three levels of service:
- Monitor and Notify
- Physical Management
- Full Management
For all service plans, Verizon Business will:
- Poll devices under management every three minutes to verify that they are functioning properly
- Respond to alarms generated by failed polls indicating a fault condition
- Isolate the fault condition to either your on-premise equipment or a network portion of your solution
- Open a trouble ticket on your behalf
- Proactively notify you that a fault condition exists. The service is backed by a 15-minute Proactive Outage Notification SLA (service-level agreement)
Monitor and Notify
(The "Tell Me What's Happening" Service Plan)
Our Monitoring and Notification Service Plan continually observes the network, keeping you informed about its operation while you stay in charge. Under this service plan, Verizon:
- Monitors the network proactively, isolates the fault (access, network transport, or CPE) and restores and repairs if the issues are access and/or network on Verizon circuits.
Alerts you if the issues are CPE and recommends when action needs to be taken. You retain control to resolve logical faults with your on-premise equipment.
Physical Management
(The "Collaborative Management" Service Plan)
Our Physical Management Service Plan enables both you and Verizon to manage the network collaboratively. Under this service plan, Verizon:
- Helps you monitor the network, isolate the fault, and clear logical and physical issues with the access and/or the transport network.
- Isolates and resolves physical faults with Verizon-provided CPE. You retain control to resolve logical faults with your on-premise equipment.
- Dispatches personnel to repair the fault; this would include, but not be limited to, Verizon personnel, your on-premise equipment maintenance provider, and/or you as the customer.
Full Management
(The "Manage It for Me" Service Plan)
Our Full Management Service Plan provides the same features as our Basic Service Plan, but we will resolve all logical and/or physical fault conditions with your on-premise managed equipment. Verizon is accountable to monitor, manage, remedy, and secure your network.
